Today we did a walk down to the Ancient Agora, once the town center of Athens. I found it more appealing than the Acropolis. It's less focused on being impressive, and you can get a lot closer to the ruins.

After lunch on Souvlaki Row (I had a good chicken souvlaki), we headed to the National Archaeological Museum, which had a good collection of sculptures of gryphons. It was also neat to see the actual Antikythera Mechanism.

Dinner was our best meal yet. It was at a small-plates restaurant where we chose ten different dishes. Almost all of them were great.
