Getting There - Aneel's Travelogue

I had a productive day in New Orleans, checking off a bunch of things I've been meaning to do: had a muffuletta from Central Grocery, Drago's char-broiled oysters, and a roast beef po-boy from The Parkway tavern. (I started with beignets and hot chocolate from Cafe du Monde, but I've done that before.)

I also walked along the river, visited the Aquarium, and stopped in at the Contemporary Arts Center. It turned out that the New Orleans Film Festival just started, so I caught a showing of a bunch of locally-produced short films.
