Jenny: Gifts: kids loved colored pencils, erasers were a HUGE hit, as were small sharpeners and girls loved cheap, neon hair ties. We should have bought them in Hanoi at the tacky markets to take to the more rural areas, but I bought them in the US. We regretted that we didn't have baseball cards or some other sports trinket for boys. Candy is a bad idea. English flash cards are really really popular in Cambodia. We left SF postcards at some guest houses and the cleaners/staff liked them.
