It's been a great few days at Heidi's family farm. Lots of fun people, great food and drink, and many afternoons spent lying in a hammock. The only downside was the heat. The heat wave hitting the Midwest right now made it generally impossible to do much out of doors during the daylight hours, so some of the planned activities were allowed to fall by the wayside. Happily, that just meant more time to hang out with the cool people. Quincy and Sasha and I did make a trip out to the Maquoketa Caves State Park. The caves were blissfully cool after the summer heat.

I'm at the Cedar Rapids airport now, waiting for the desk to open so I can check in for my flig to Atlanta to catch another plane to Bonaire for the diving part of this trip.
