There's a lot of corn between Sioux Falls and Minneapolis. There are a few windmills to spice things up.
There's also the Spam Museum, which is surprisingly entertaining. They have exhibits that talk about the history of everyone's favorite potted meat, and displays with recipes.
I made it to Minneapolis in the early evening and met up with my friend Julee and her husband Tom, who're hosting me for this stay. We did a short walking tour of the local area (look! hipsters!) and had a very good dinner at a pub with a good beer selection.
