Quiet Kalibukbuk, Bali, Indonesia, Saturday, 25 June 2011 6:26pm

Quiet day. Did a bit of swimming. Got a bit of sun. Did a bit of reading. I just had a really good dinner of pork in banana leaves. My drink was the most impressive tropical drink I've ever had. It was served inside of a pineapple, and the flower-and-fruit arrangement towered at least a foot above the top of the pineapple.

There are very few tourists here. A number of the people I've talked to say they haven't had any business in a week, and it seems plausible. They say that it picks up in July and August, but that right now it's very slow.

What are air temps like there? The forecasts I've seen are in the 70s-80s. Should I bring something besides shorts & tank tops?
