Getting There - Aneel's Travelogue

30lbs this time, and most of the saved weight is books. I'm carrying exactly one paper book, and it's a thin paperback of Ursula Le Guin short stories. I'm hoping to put the iPad to the test. I've bought one book from Apple's bookstore, and one from Amazon's Kindle store, and I have a bunch of public domain books. If it turns out to be terrible for reading on, or if the battery isn't enough, I may have to beg my travel companions to bring me books. Luckily, this trip is organized in stages, so that might even be possible.

The plan for this trip is: week 1 in El Salvador with Mona, week 2 in El Salvador with Mona and Bahman, week 3 in Honduras with the whole crew.
